Royalty-Free License

This Royalty-Free License applies to eligible AWD Sounds products obtained through an authorized purchase or download.

1. License grant

After a valid purchase, AWD Sounds grants the original purchaser a personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable and royalty-free license to use the included sounds, samples, loops, one-shots, MIDI files, presets and project elements in original musical productions.

2. Permitted use

You may:

  • use the content in personal and commercial musical compositions;
  • edit, process, layer, pitch, stretch, arrange and mix the content;
  • release finished music through labels, distributors and streaming platforms;
  • use finished productions in film, television, games, advertising, social media and live performance;
  • work with collaborators on a specific production when the source files remain under your control;
  • earn revenue from productions created under this license without paying additional royalties to AWD Sounds.

3. Prohibited use

You may not:

  • sell, share, sublicense or redistribute the files in their original or substantially isolated form;
  • upload the files to sample-sharing, cloud-sharing, torrent or stock-content services;
  • include the files in another sample pack, preset bank, MIDI pack, template library or sound library;
  • make the files available for extraction from a product or project;
  • claim authorship or exclusive ownership of the original AWD Sounds files;
  • transfer this license to another person or business;
  • use the files to train or assemble a competing commercial sound library;
  • register an unmodified or isolated sample in a content-identification system in a way that blocks other lawful users.

4. Presets and MIDI

Presets and MIDI may be used to create original musical works. The preset files and MIDI files themselves may not be redistributed, resold, repackaged or shared.

5. Construction kits and project files

Construction kits, stems and project files are provided as production resources. You may create and commercially release a substantially developed musical production from them.

You may not release a construction kit demo, stem combination or project arrangement in substantially unchanged form while claiming exclusive ownership of the underlying source material.

6. Collaborators and clients

You may share files only when reasonably necessary for a specific production with a collaborator, mixing engineer, mastering engineer or client. They must not retain or reuse the source files independently.

7. Ownership

AWD Sounds and its licensors retain ownership of the original files, artwork, branding and intellectual property. This license grants usage rights, not ownership of the source library.

8. Termination

This license terminates if you materially breach its terms. Productions lawfully created and released before termination remain subject to any rights that cannot legally be withdrawn, but unauthorized distribution must stop immediately.

9. Proof of license

Your order confirmation, invoice and customer account may serve as evidence of a valid license. Keep a copy of your purchase records.
